Reflex

... existed from 1993 till 1997 and was a group of people, who understood the programming of the Commodore 64 as a kind of sport. The members of such a group contributes with his talents as coder, graphic artist, music artist or swapper. The common ambition is the publication of a demo, a wired piece of software showing graphic effects together with a soundtrack. Satisfaction can be found by astounding the others, doing "impossible" things and to exhaust the limits of the C64's hardware. Demos can be seen as an early type of experimental movies or music videos. Indeed the latest releases of the pc-demo scene fit to this describtion very well.

The members of Reflex were (nearly in alphabetical order):
Condor, Dr. Kaos, Guru, Happymaker, Hogan, Jim Jack, Praiser, Private Soldier (PVT), PVCF, Quiss, Seytan (DJ Bobo), Warp 8, Zorc and me, Felidae.

In the meantime many powerfull emulators were released like CSS, Vice or Frodo (see also www.c64.org). So it is possible to run that stuff on your PC. You can download it and give it a try:
